What happens when you let your imagination soar? Find out when you volunteer with the International Children’s Festival! For over 30 years, the Festival has been a playground of wonder and enchantment for children in St. Albert and across Northern Alberta. We're looking for fun, enthusiastic, and energetic people ready to join our volunteer team. If you are at least 12 years of age, now is your chance to get involved.

Each year over 800 volunteers come together to make the International Children’s Festival possible. Your help is needed to paint faces, shuttle artists, assist children with crafts, sell merchandise, and usher patrons into venues. Volunteers must be willing to commit to at least three shifts during the Festival. There are many different positions to fill — find out which one is best for you!

The Festival’s Youth Ambassador Program invites youths aged 12–18 years old, looking to gain valuable leadership experience, to become key members of our volunteer team. As a Youth Ambassador you will have the opportunity to be involved in key aspects of the Festival, including introducing artists, serving as information guides, meeting and greeting buses as they arrive, and acting as representatives with designated sponsor promotions. This is also a mentorship program that encourages older youths to help develop the skills and confidence in younger participants. This year, consider sharing your time and skills as a leader and connect to your vibrant cultural community through the Youth Ambassador Program.

Become a Festival volunteer and create memorable moments for yourself and our guests over five exciting and fun-filled days!
