OUTREACH PROGRAMS

PROJECT SMILE

Sponsored by Save-On-Foods Horse Racing Alberta

The International Children’s Festival strives to make artistic and cultural programming accessible for every child; however, for some children a visit to the Festival is simply not possible. This outreach initiative is designed to bring the colour, sounds and laughter of the festival to local hospitals and care facilities for patients and their families to enjoy.

Visits will feature professional Festival performers, face painting and hands-on arts workshops designed to entertain and educate.

ADOPT-A-SCHOOL PROGRAM

Sponsored by Horse Racing Alberta Canadian Progress Club | St. Albert

The Adopt-A-School Program partners service groups and businesses with schools to remove financial obstacles to Festival participation. Funding is used to provide Festival tickets and bus transportation and is directed to schools most in need.

To learn more about contributing to this outstanding community investment program, contact Sandra at 780-459-1694 or smoloney@st-albert.net.
