Two First Aid and Information Tents will be located on the Festival site:

  • St. Albert Place Plaza
  • Lions Park
All lost children will be escorted to an Information Tent.

Wheelchair Information

The Festival’s Main Stage venues and Site Activity tents are wheelchair accessible. On ticket order forms, teachers must state the number of students in their group who require wheelchair seating. Wheelchair attendants will receive a complimentary ticket.
*Wheelchair seating is limited in some venues.

Babes-in-Arms Policy

Bring the baby! Children under two years old do not require a ticket when seated on an adult’s lap during a main stage performance. The Festival appreciates your help encouraging small children to practice quiet theatre behaviour in consideration of the performing artists and other audience members.

Concessions

Concessions that offer delicious snacks and refreshing beverages are located throughout the Festival site. Plenty of green space, ideal for a picnic lunch, surrounds the Festival site.

Souvenirs and Merchandise

Souvenirs are available for purchase from the two merchandise tents:

  • St. Albert Place Plaza
  • Lions Park

Stop by either location [map] to purchase all kinds of great Festival memorabilia, such as a CD featuring your favourite Festival artist.

Environmental Message

Carbon

The Northern Alberta International Children’s Festival is dedicated to minimizing our eco-footprint. We know there is much more to be done to protect our planet, but here are a few of our efforts to make a difference:

  • Our administrative office actively recycles paper, glass and cardboard
  • We encourage the use of alternative transportation like carpools and bicycles by offering a free Park-and-Ride service from St. Albert Centre and bicycle racks on site
  • The International Children’s Festival is a smoke-free site
  • Fortis Green Team collects recyclables throughout the Festival
  • Site activities such as papermaking encourage creative use of recycled materials
  • We print one certificate of admittance for each class instead of one ticket for every child
  • We compost food waste and encourage our vendors to use recyclable plates and utensils
  • We’re using bicycles for environmentally friendly transportation around the Festival site
  • We are showcasing responsible environmental stewardship in the presentation of
The Man Who Planted Trees and in ENMAX's Power Up! – The Alternative Energy Show.

We encourage all festival patrons to do their part for the planet.
