Concessionaires Application
The International Children’s Festival will take place June 1st to June 5th, 2010 inclusive in St. Albert.
The Children's Festival only accepts Food and Beverage Vendor applications. No other type of vendor is allowed on site.
This year the Festival, in association with Waste Management, is going Green. Waste Management will be supplying compost bins for vendors and patrons. Vendors are strongly encouraged to participate in this initiative.
Preference will be given to vendors who utilize compostable serving products such as: paper or compostable plates, cutlery and cups.
Please note that Styrofoam of any kind will not be allowed at the Festival this year (this includes cups, plates, bowls etc). We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

The deadline for submissions is May 3, 2010.
Submissions will be reviewed and evaluated on the following criteria:
- Conformance to specifications (valid business license, health inspection certificate, equipment, etc.)
- Type and cost of product (remember, this is a children’s festival)
- Experience
- Booth display (photographs of your setup are strongly recommended)
- Information on your participation with the Green initiatives
The allocated space, not to exceed 12’ x 12’, (there may be space exceptions in the Park, as it has potential for larger set-ups) has an entry fee of $900. (this fee includes: water, grey water disposal and electrical but does not include GST)
A deposit cheque of $400 is required at the time of application.
Vendors will be responsible for set-up on May 31, 2010 commencing at 9 AM.
Takedown begins after 6 PM on Saturday, June 5, 2010.
Location assignments will be determined by the Festival Committee.

There is a non-refundable $400.00 penalty if vendor cancels on or before May 14, 2010.
The complete fee is non-refundable if the vendor cancels after May 14, 2010.
The Festival reserves the right to terminate vendor agreements if we feel you have not complied with the
rules and regulations of the Festival. In that case you will not be entitled to the return of any part of your fee. This money will be retained as liquidated damages and not as a penalty.
